28. RUBIA (HB-28).jpg

Hi! My name is Rubia! I once belonged to King Klectoclum’s harem. I used to be one of his favorite women until I cut off my nose to spite my face (so to say). Well, I became pregnant. As well, other women were too. But my brainwaves changed from community-serving traditions and I wanted out. The baby on board was a blessing, yes, but a curse as well since keeping it would mean I needed to be dependent on King Klectoclum’s kingdom. So, I brought forth my sacred, unconventional ideas to a psychic Sage. He instructed me to hide the pregnancy as best I could by eating lightly and when 9 months had come to pass and my water broke, etc., he would retrieve the baby and raise it as his. After that, I
could run to another village he recommended and begin an entirely different existence. Upon hearing this, I became rather agitated and worrisome. But after some meditation, I realized it may well be the only sensible, logical solution since I didn’t want to play the role of sex slave for a man who is weak and,
supposedly, needs multiple partners to be happy. I didn’t really feel close to any of the other women that surrounded me. Nor, did I feel special in the eyes of the King. Therefore, disconnecting from this opulent existence to live a more subdued, mundane, agrarian one as a simple gardener/crop-gatherer or animal
care-taker seemed an easy leap of faith for me. Oh, I remain clothed in the red silk dress gifted from the King, but that’s because I’m more attractive to you in it. I mean, you wouldn’t want me wearing my stained, animal-scented garb to your home as the pungent smell would drive you away to play with other
dollies or toys. So, basically, that’s my naked Barbie story and I’m sticking to it. Please help my other fellow Barbies find their true calling.
Mahalo! (Thank You!)

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
