Heart Strings

Heart Strings

Heart Strings
Don’t pull on his heart strings too hard
For the music gets harsh and bombards
The melody won’t be as sweet
You can’t go on washing his feet
Pain is such pleasure, you know
And guilt-it will never let go
Since it is the joy of the love
To be miserable without
Strength and courage have come
And hope lets me simply move on
So he’ll remain in my rearview mirror
The image no longer is terror
The fear and the blame will soon pass
And trusting again it will last
For love will conquer and reign
As I keep on singin’ refrain
I love him-can’t have him-but do
And he feels the same sweet adieu
A deep love, not body, but head
Our minds are connected-I’m fed

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
