Float on Life Preserver
When all of the fluff melted off
And all I was left was a moth
Since clothes had been eaten away
I look out for wolves still at bay
They eagerly lick of their chops
And pull out most all of the stops
They think that they eat me alive
But into the waters, I dive
All that they saw was reflection
An image made up with their section
But they were just missing the part
That makes it all go – what a lark!
They’re merrily singing their song
With all of the notes in it wrong
If only with well-tuned piano
They could have used, not sharp soprano
The cutting, harsh tone of the notes
Do more than break glass, they rock boats
And I don’t need my boat to sink
Float on life preserver, you FINK!
