Concord Grapes

Concord Grapes

Concord Grapes

Once I was a bunch of concord grapes
Plump the fruit of which the wine do make
Being ever juicy and so ripe
Some people came and squashed me, it’s my gripe

But then they sipped so slowly of the wine
And soon they asked me with them would I dine
I told them they were crazy to believe
That I’d be in the mood in time I grieved

They told me how the wine had made them merry
It tasted fruity, just like one of cherry
They laughed and smiled, encouraged me, “get drunk!”
I told them all I sniffed…aroma skunk!

But then all by myself, I sipped the wine
And they were right, it tasted awfully fine
Together we then did just get along
Forgetting who did what and where went wrong

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
