Golden Birthday

Golden Birthday

Golden Birthday
It was my golden birthday
And I just turned eighteen
Just wanted a time
To let my life beam
California Dreamin’ On the escalator
Isn’t it deceivin’ I passed this alligator
I went there on a trip He acted like a brother
My heart now has a rip But my fire he soon did smother

He did his very best The people there spoke Spanish
To help me take a rest I just wanted to vanish
My heart went pitter patter But travlin’ was fun
Yet later it would shatter And I really loved the sun

Back home I felt perturbed Experience has taught
I spent time with a nerd That I must have more thought
Although he was quite nice My rose lasted a week
We did more than break the ice The memory I’ll keep

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter!
