Dirty Snow

Dirty Snow

Dirty Snow

Ah, winter is a lovely time of year
Soft, beautiful flakes of snow come down to earth
Yes, they appear to cover up its ordinary appearance

This sounds like a new relationship starting
A new person comes into your life and is so charismatic
They diminish the dullness of one’s life.

As the snow accumulates, its heaviness weighs down in thickness
Just as more friendliness makes a difference

As the snow melts, wind carries dust upon its surface
And it sticks there because it can not release from the adhesive wet snow

Here, as the relationship continues along,
A real humanness connects itself to the new person
Although you may want to prevent your basic needs from becoming known…
They do anyways

There is no way to prevent it because your personalities are magnetic…
(And stick like the dust on the snow.)

Now you’re left with a dirty appearance on what was once
a clean, appealing crop of snow.
It can’t be helped. Mother Nature did it by the warmth of her sun

There is nothing that can be done about someone having already seen
That you have basic needs to fill
The appearance of purity now has an appearance of human-nature.
But that is not your fault

You are like the snow which Mother Nature has dirtied
It was dirtied by the warmth of your natural caring
And there is no way to stop people from seeing you

About bognetta

Love has been so much more powerful than other people's control. I think it's all love, but sometimes it doesn't feel like love. That is because so many people are defensive, protective, and do not care to trust in that four letter word...love!
